Over 30 Years in Providing Excellence.
In 1990 Pedro R. Gutierrez started Can Do Concrete Construction in north Greeley. Can Do Concrete was born out of Pedro’s desire to be able to spend more time at home with his wife and two boys, Clem and John.
Prior to 1990 he spent 20 plus years working in concrete traveling all over Southern Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona working for the largest ditch lining company at that time, Pink Wilson Company. There he gained great insight, experience and knowledge as a Superintendent. He lead a 21 mile ditch project for the Sandia Indian Pueblo in Bernalillo. He also took on several multi-million dollar projects in Arizona. July of 1989 he was longing to come back to Greeley and provide ditch lining services to our Northern Colorado community and be home with his family.
1990 he gave birth to a vision of laying a strong foundation for a multi-generational family business which himself and wife, Inez ran. Their son’s Clem and John later joined the family business and were instrumental on ensuring the company’s success and great growth. Can Do has been a staple in our local agricultural industry for ditch lining, new and repairs as well as the related structural projects. Over 30 years in business Can Do has expanded their service into Commercial, Residential and a variety of Civil Work.
In August 2021, John and his wife Nina purchased the company upon Pedro’s and Inez retirement. They are committed to continuing the legacy of providing great service, transparent communication and standing by their work while making a difference in the community they love.

John Gutierrez
General Manager
John has over 27 years of experience as a project manager and business owner in the concrete industry. His extensive experience includes Owner/Estimator of his own company, many years as a Superintendent/Estimator of two multi-million dollar enterprises.
As a Project Manager, he was responsible for the profit/loss on projects valued up to $1 million.
Nina Gutierrez
President
Nina was born and raised in Greeley, CO. She graduated from Greeley West in 1998 and went on to earn a double bachelors degree in Sports Medicine & in the Spanish Language at Colorado State University. Following in her family’s entrepreneurial footsteps in construction, Nina decided she enjoyed the challenges of owning her own business. She started out her career as a Real Estate Agent in the Northern Colorado Area working in the New Construction arena.
Steve Kensinger
Project Manager
Steve is a Colorado Native living in Greeley for almost his whole life. He spent 2 summers working for Can-Do as a Laborer during college while attending the University of Northern Colorado on a Football, Track and Academic scholarship. He was part of the 1996 National Championship football team that helped put Northern Colorado football on the map. Before UNC, Steve graduated from Greeley Central High School 1993 as the Class President,
