John Guiterrez
General Manager/Owner
John has over 27 years of experience as a project manager and business owner in the concrete industry.
His extensive experience includes Owner/Estimator of his own company, many years as a Superintendent/Estimator of two multi-million dollar enterprises.
As a Project Manager, he was responsible for the profit/loss on projects valued up to $1 million. A sampling of the projects that John has completed while performing in several construction companies is as follows:
- Fire Tower Training facility in the Town of Castle Rock
- Home Depot in Arizona
- Douglas County Justice Center
- Numerous CDOT projects.
- Multiple Municipalities in Denver Metro area and Northern Colorado are including but not limited to Greeley, Evans, Windsor, Severance, Fort Collins, Loveland, Longmont, Milliken, Johnstown, Ault, La Salle, Gilcrest, Thornton, Denver, Fort Morgan, Sterling.
- Many agricultural projects such as new ditches, repair and replace and dairy structures.
He graduated from Greeley Central High School as a Track State Champion and received a full ride scholarship to Colorado State University in 1992-1996 studying Construction Management.
In, 2004 John moved back home from Arizona where he gained more experience and joined his Father, Mother and brother in business with Can Do Concrete Construction.
John also volunteered his time as a Cross Country/Track and field coach for Greeley West High School and then leading the girls top five finish in the Big Sky Conference, several All-Conference athletes and once All-Conference Champion in 2012.
John has been married to Nina Duran-Gutierrez, his business partner for 10 years. They have 2 children and enjoy spending time with family, traveling, golfing and snow skiing.
