He spent 2 summers working for Can-Do as a Laborer during college while attending the University of Northern Colorado on a Football, Track and Academic scholarship.  He was part of the 1996 National Championship football team that helped put Northern Colorado football on the map. Before UNC, Steve graduated from Greeley Central High School 1993 as the Class President, DECA member and Captain of the Football and Track Teams.

Prior to joining Can-Do for a second stint in April of 2022, Steve spent last 25 years as a Residential Mortgage Underwriter and Corporate Trainer for many mortgage companies across the country.

Steve is married and has one amazing son.  He enjoys time with his family and friends, golfing, fly fishing, hiking and camping.
